Here is the information you need to know about the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information when you use the Booth ScoutTM mobile app.

Tally Trove, LLC (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the Booth Scout mobile application (the “Service”).  We use your Personal Information for providing and improving the Booth Scout mobile app. By using the Booth Scout mobile app, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.


Information We Collect

Personal Information

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to, your email address and name (“Personal Information”). We collect this information for the purpose of providing the Service, identifying and communicating with you, responding to your requests/inquiries, and improving our services.

Setting up an account in the Booth Scout app is optional, but some features of the app (e.g., adding artists to your favorites list) are only available if you have created an account. To set up an account, you submit an email address and choose a password. Tally Trove, LLC can view email addresses but not passwords.

You can choose to share your name (first, last, and/or nickname) and your email with artists or festival organizers when signing up for a mailing list. We save your name and email for your future use. We ask for your email when you send us feedback via the Booth Scout app. The email address you share with artists or with your feedback can be different from the one that you used to set up your account.

Your name, password, and email will be available to mLab, the cloud database service that Tally Trove, LLC uses. mLab maintains their own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

App Usage Information

We may use third party services such as Amazon Web Services Mobile Analytics that collect, monitor, and analyze how features are used in Booth Scout. This information is aggregated and not tied to any of your account information. These third party service providers have their own privacy policies addressing how they use such information.

App Improvement Information

Tally Trove, LLC uses Instabug software to collect crash reports as well as problem reports and improvement suggestions from users. Instabug will ask permission before accessing the microphone in your device (for an audio note) or your photos (if you wish to attach a photo other than the already selected screen shot). The following information (and possibly additional information) is collected and presented to Tally Trove, LLC by Instabug along with the crash, problem, and improvement reports:

Instabug maintains their own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Want to send us a problem report or improvement suggestion without all this information attached?  You can do so via the contact form ( on our website. We ask for your name and email address on the contact form.  Crash reports are generated automatically and contain the information listed above.


Information We Do Not Collect

The Booth Scout mobile app does not collect: phone number, contacts, call history, browser history, photos, or credit card information.


How We Use Your Information

Feature Implementation
When you “favorite” an artist we link the artist information to your specific account.

Your email is used when you want to reset your password and when you want to sign up for artists’ mailing lists. Tally Trove will not sell your email to any third parties. With your permission, we may share your email address with craft show and art festival organizers. Tally Trove, LLC may contact you via your email address.

Future Enhancements
Tally Trove, LLC will use usage data that is aggregated or de-identified to figure out ways to improve the Booth Scout mobile app.

Tally Trove will use aggregated or de-identified data to communicate with craft shows, artists and the general public about how the app is being used.

When you send feedback to the maker of Booth Scout we ask for your email address on the form. We may reply to you using the email address you include with the feedback.

Terms of Use

We may use your personal information to enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other applicable agreements.


How Others May Access Your Personal Information

Service Providers
We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service, to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services and/or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used and can be improved. These third parties have access to your Personal Information and each third party follows a Privacy Policy of its own, including with respect to your personal information obtained through its role in assisting us to provide the Service. A complete list of third party companies is available upon request via our Contact Page ( Individuals employed by Tally Trove, LLC will be required to treat your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Compliance With Laws and Protection of Rights and Safety
We will disclose your Personal Information where required to do so by law or subpoena or if we believe that such action is necessary to comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement or to protect the security or integrity of our Service, the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our customers or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

Business Transaction
If Tally Trove, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your Personal Information may be transferred as a business asset.

Our Service contains links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

Your information, including Personal Information, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.  If you are located outside United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the information, including Personal Information, to the United States and process it there.  Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.



The security of your Personal Information is important to us, and we strive to implement and maintain reasonable, commercially acceptable security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the information we store, in order to protect it from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure. Communication between your device and our server uses an HTTPS connection. Our server and database reside in the same local network (i.e., datacenter / cloud region). However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is totally secure and we are unable to guarantee the security of the Personal Information we have collected from you. Additionally, the safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Service, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. You may not share your password with anyone.


Deleting Your Account

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is effective as of August 7, 2016 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page. We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Service after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.
